John Wallace has been working with the Chicago-based authors of Brass for Beginners® to introduce this innovative, cross-curriculum, early-years music programme to the UK.
A double CD set which brings together a first volume of Malcolm Arnold’s exquisite music for brass. This double CD set includes a 16 page information booklet and offers a wonderful selection of works from this great composer, performed by some of the finest brass musicians of today and tomorrow.
A spectacular end to the festival combining a varied programme of music from The Wallace Collection, the Co-op Funeralcare Band, virtuoso trumpeter Marco Blaauw, the University’s talented brass player Thomas Harmar and electronics by Alasdair MacDonald. Including works from Malcolm Arnold, Wim Bex, John Wallace, Timothy Jackson and Derek Bourgeois.
